Collaborated with the Creative Department and the engineering department to develop compelling and dynamic content for the web and email. Design work was developed in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Web and email content was created using hand-coding html, php, jsp, css, javascript that references proprietary software. Responsibilities ranged from creating html and email pieces from art directors comps, to modifying html for web and email to reflect table driven variability projects. Campaigns have included clients such as; Marriott, Sears, Pinnacle, Casual Male, AT&T and Lowes Hardware.

 

 

2003-Current Art Director/ Developer, MissingPiece

Started as a freelance contractor to Art Direct the development of missingpiece.com. With the success of this project permanent position as Art Director was granted. In this role several b2c pieces for print and email were created. The constant task at hand involves updating the company website, pertaining to new artist profiles and events. As well as continual updates of the Missingpiece web sites backend, Keeping it in synch with the most current best practices for web standards.

 

 2001-2003 Art Director/ Developer, PuzzleTheory

Participated in the development of a long-term strategy for the site design, maintenance, infrastructure and cross-platform compatibility with Macintosh and Windows OS. Developed and managed sites design and usability together with owners' vision implementation and storyboarding. Created main-body and interfaces using Flash combined with hand-coded HTML. Recompressed existing graphics to a higher quality using Fireworks. Set up mail accounts using standard FTP software and host web-panel. Used PHP and hand coding to set up data transfer for submission forms. Worked to develop uniform collateral materials, which included videotape packaging, brochure content/ layout, as well as promotional fliers. Oversaw production from the rough draft stage to preparing materials for print, and then helped choose a high quality print shop with competitive pricing.

Decision maker in everyday communication with outsourced design firm and various print shops to achieve high-quality low-cost print runs. Responsible for the development of the majority of the print materials: stickers, posters, brochure and other promotional materials. Collection of images and content, image adjustment to the image content, copy proofing the copy content, layout, preparing for print. Best print shops for the various print jobs using quality and price as initial criteria, then would prepare and deliver data for run.
