I went to go see Nurse With Wound, it was an amazing show. This was the first gig in over 2 decades. The mixing board was INSANE.

CoCo Rosie

I went to see CoCo Rosie the other week. About 20 minutes before the show ended this guy passes out on stage. The lead singer of the opening band (who was beat boxing for the girls) ran to the guy, took his shirt off and put it under his head like a pillow. He gave him a few sips of water and let him lay there for the rest of the show.

Works at the Attic and deals with the riff-raff with an authoritative charm like no one else!

Here are some people that I saw looking more tired, yet somehow more colorful and well dressed than myself. But today, after work, I had the most amazing thing... for the first time... Fried green tomatoes. So crispy and flaky, yet tender and ...somehow healthy tasting, despite the crispy wonderfulness of the fried corn pepper batter!!! Jesus Christ. Really it was amazing, sadly I didn't take a picture but I did take this. In a way this is the antithesis of those fried green tomatoes. Oh my... they had drizzled the tomato slices with a creamy tomato coulis, garlic chip concoction... Lord, Lord....
So this is pretty much a shot of exactly "my" complete opposite of that dish.

I was walking to the bank on 25th and Mission. I saw an old Irish man with a cane throw a glass of water over his shoulder. When I crossed the street I saw this happy camper taking a break, water all over his face. I can't think of a better thing to do than get passed out drunk at 3:30 on a Tuesday afternoon.
